Chronograph is a server that provides a unified potentially multi-user experience taylored to your needs by the inclusion or exclusion of different features which we call products, the most basic of which is Time Tracker. You can then add other features as you like when it suits you though some products do require other products to be present first in order to function.

Time Tracker

With just two clicks to log time against a task. One click to log a break it's so easy to keep your time line up to date and time tracking can even be done from your mobile!

A pop up list shows what needs to be done.

The software calculates the time spent on each task which you can see on your timesheet. See image below.

A classic simple time sheet

You can;

Create a new task, just give it a name
You can log time with two clicks or taps
You can log time after or before now if you forgot to enter something
The time sheet show the state of the task which you can change (Great for Kan-ban)
The time sheet can show any specified number of days, weeks, months or years, in the columns
Tax and academic years or your companies accounting year are all possible
Time sheets can be exported as CSV for use in your spreadsheet
And that is just the start

Time Planner

The Time Planner extends Chronograph with classic Critical Path Method (CPM) Gantt chart scheduling predecessor/successor relations, with a time interval and working time for each task.

But with a Gantt chart plan superimposed on your timesheet you can make a clear comparison between tracked time and planned time.

Benchmarks are provided to show work over the allocated time and how far ahead you are on any task.

Now you can link each task to any folder or file on the local computer or the internet.

Task Tree

Task Tree allows every task to be easily broken down into sub-tasks or to be included in a super-task. The number of levels is not restricted. All projects simply become different high level tasks and can therefore be included together so that you can see clearly time available for concurrent projects.

Clear warnings are given when the time interval required by subtasks is larger than the time interval of the task.

At any time before or during a project, any task can;

be renamed
be assigned to any person in the team,
be moved in the task hierarchy

Time Team

Time Team allows people to assign tasks between each other and give restricted visibility into each others task trees. Progress of the assigned tasks is clearly visible. Assignment only takes place with confirmed agreement between the assignor and assignee - of task constraints such as start, finish work time etc. This is vital for managing project teams across the organisation.

At any time before or during a project, any task can;

be assigned to any person in the team,
be removed or put under any super-task
be replicated with all its sub-tasks
have its sub-tasks assigned to different people
be linked to any files on the local computer
have its predecessors and successors changed

Task Template

Frequently projects or tasks and their subtasks need to be repeated. Task Template allows any task structure the user chooses to be re-used thus forming a template for a new task. You can assign the same or different people to the roles involved and completely re-plan the task as you wish, but you save a lot of duplicated work.

At any time before or during a project, any task can;

copied with all its sub-hierarchy and placed anywhere in the task hierarchy

Cash Planner

With Cash Planner;

It's easy to generate a cash flow forcast
Review the planned income and outgoings of a project at any level
See how the cash balance changes day by day, week by week etc.
Be prepared to aquire financing to cover negative balances

Cash Tracker

This is currently under development but the idea is to be able to record actual income and outgoing cash related to any task as and when it occurs. Thus allowing a clear comparison between the plan and the actual cash flow.
